Post For Sale: K27 / MAP / 55lb Injectors (STILL FOR SALE 5/16)

Ok, well I think I'm going to go a different direction with my car now that I have a daily driver, so the 951 is going to go with something a bit more aggressive for track days than my current set up.

So the whole thing is going to go:
MAP w/ hand held module
55 lb injectors
k27
Chips

I'm going to tune it on the dyno on the 24th, so the buyer will get the car dialed in for what ever boost setting they want to run, 15, 17, what ever.

I'm putting it up here to see if anyone is interested, and I am open to offers, please don't low ball me an offer.

i take it that is guru map and chips?

i need to go see how much that stuff costs new and how much room i have in my bank account

would you be interested in selling just the map or just the map and injectors?

Dan,

I was hoping to sell it all in one package, but I would def be willing to break things up a bit.

It just would be nice to unload all the parts to one buyer, but i will be flexable if the right offers come in....

The turbo is in good shape and with fairly low miles (preivous owner had about 5k on it, and I think i'm about the same). I def won't be asking new k27 prices (considering they are like 1200 dollars).

I'm not really sure what it is worth, but i have been trying to figure that out.

In the current issue of excellence windward has them advertised for $875 new in the box. So I would have to guess that one with over 5k miles would be less than that.

I'll be there as long as the wife does not go into labor. With yours being the k27/6 how is the lag?

Assuming you can keep the wastegate completely closed to a certain limit, the K27/6 will spool-up about the same as a k26/8 which is a little slower than the k26/6. I still have not seen a dyno chart of a Garrett, etc. spoll up any faster although they can have a much higher top end. Check out this dyno comparison from a couple years ago for a reference.

The k27 is not too laggy, 3200 i'm at full boost, and boost start to build at 2800.

Keith got to drive the turbo so you can also ask him, but I for one like how it spools, it seems to be a good compromise for a street car.

ian,
When you say $500 are you talking about just the turbo? If so, I am interested in the MAP kit...but just wondering which MAP kit this is so I can get a relative price...thanks.
