I think of an ignition lock as a 'whistle' too. Just thought that was funny.
LOL. Yup.

I think the strongest indication that the ebay seller is an idiot is that he bought a 944 Turbo for $1,500 and then planned to have someone else do the work getting it together.

The $1500 he initially paid seems about right. Tho if it's not running now I'd hesitate to even spend that much.

MSTACK if you bought it ill be looking for the missing parts tomorrow. I put a lot of my own personal parts into that car trying to make it run right. Im pissed that they didnt even bother to show up for when the car was being delivered. They called me at work and said they are dropping it off now can you run over and make sure its there. So i did and left. after finding out that their was coolant in the exhaust i told them that i could pull the head and its probably a headgasket but i needed to move it to my shop. So again i rented a trailer to move some of my own projects to my new shop so i offered to move theirs if they would help. Never showed up to help me unload it and while i was driving it off the trailer the bumper caught and bacially ripped it off. Its been ridiculous with these kids. After that car ive never offered to fix anything for anyone. If they need help they can use my shop, tools and ill stick around for advice but I'm not doing the work myself. BTW my cars fine. it needs turbo seals that's why I don't drive it and the "local mechanic" that built it for me was Van and by "built it for me" i mean he let me use his shop and huge knowledge on the engines to get it completed correctly.

LOL at pettybird. I thought the same thing. Anyone that buys a tired and broken 951 for cheap had BETTER be good with a wrench and have the desire to get all up close with Lart.

It'll still be expensive, and anyone that can flip whole, running 951s and actually make money is amazing.

Bust a deal and face the wheel

In other words, reputations are usually set on bad things not always good. It only takes one poorly handled situation to tarnish all the good.

Its funny how true that is. At the business we do zero advertisement yet we grow something like 16-18% each year. Thats all word of mouth. Everyone that calls tells me one of their friends ect recommended us and say how great we are. But you have one problem with someone(not paying their bill ect) and its your fault. I had a guy who owed me something like 1600$ and even though he owed me this, still called me till 3 in the morning to bitch at me about how i shut off his service. Then summer rolls around, he pays his bill and switches companies. Thanks buddie. Next time i wont extend credit over whats normal(get delivery and pay it otherwise you wont get another, This guy got somthing like 5 deliveries without paying a cent.).

Trust me I know the feeling! Seems the people I have helped the most over the years have hurt me the most.
