Default Pagid Orange/Yellow/Black...

On oranges now, and was wondering who has direct feedback about them versus the yellows and blacks.

No abs, so release characteristic is important. Car has big blacks over 964 turbo rotors, with ducting. Race use only.

Have never run yellows, but much prefer the blacks vs the orange. Somewhat more aggressive pad and do not smear onto rotor like the oranges do when they get too hot.

I've been happy with the oranges on my Big Reds for DEs. I am very careful with breaking them in so that they don't clump up on the rotors when hot.

Tried the orange after having the blacks for years, and then went back to the blacks - just superior stopping power IMHO. Big blacks and 3.6 rotors on the front. Maybe I didn't bed in the orange right but even at Hallett, the blacks perform great even when Jim and I have done back to back stints in the car.

I have a barely used set of yellows for 50 plus shipping. Came off 944 turbo s, barely have ring marks in the back, I think po thought they were dailies. Can measure with calipers and post pictures.

Yeah I am outrunning the oranges a bit and everyone is pointing me toward the blacks, but say they eat rotors a fair bit. I'm going to run another duct to get overkill amounts of air up there, but I think I'm done with the oranges for sure.
