Post test pipe

i heared it from many porsche 951 guys that a
test pipe is a must to tap the full power of a turbo. how true is this?

oh yeah. Huge difference. Great bolt on. One of the first things that should be done after chips

I had an annoying vibration on startup that we couldn'g figure out how to fix. We ripped out the exhaust from the Turbo down and hack sawed out the cat and welded a 2 1/2 inch pipe in. Not only did I notice a difference, but the exhaust absolutely howls when you get on boost with your foot in it. Best $35 I've ever spent but you'll need someone who can weld stainless (and who ows you a favor) if you want to get it done that cheap!
