Default 88' turbo M030 torsion bars

This is going to be a quick thread, I did some reading but I still couldn't find the answer I am looking for.

I have a 88' turbo with stock m030. I want to replace the torsion bars, what is the recommended size/best size for the m030 ride height.

Thanks in advance.

Torsion bar on the m030 was 25.5mm which determines the spring rate. Ride height is determined by how you index the bars when they are installed.

Want to go stock, select 26. I would bump it up to 28mm to reduce squat.

Bar thickness determines spring rate. Ride height (in the rear) is determined by a combination of the index of the bar (the big factor) and the adjuster in the trailing arm (small adjustments).

Ride height in the front is determined by the length of the spring and setting of the spring perch. Dunno if the M030 front struts had adjustable perches or not. Non-M030 don't have adjustable perches.
