turbo head studs and tightening
Almost done with my valve job. I tightened the heads studs 15 ft/lbs (20 nM) 90 and 90. This is a Garrity head and is flat. I also used a widefire gasket.
At the last 90, the stud closest to the firewall in the cam tower would not tighten more than 10 degrees on the last pass. All torques were about 75-80 ft lbs.
Should I go back through again or leave well enough alone?
