Arrow Software Gurus - Can we eliminate the Idle fuel cut off?

I'm referring to the cutting-off of the fuel when the RPM's drop to 1600 or so. I'm not sure about other cars, but mine acts as if someone hit the brakes and causes my lovely passenger (girlfriend - she reads this forum ) to snap forward. Sometimes it's rougher than other times (I'm talking about the fuel cut-off).

So, can the cut-off signal to the DME be eliminated from our software? I'm aware of this fix:
<a href="http://members.tripod.com/early944/misc/shudder.htm" target="_blank">http://members.tripod.com/early944/misc/shudder.htm</a>
but I believe this is for the earlier cars. Also, will this hurt our cars?

Thanks,
sm
