Default LR Titanium retainers lifespan?

There doesn't seem to be much in the archives on this subject.

When I built my engine I used Ti retainers that the PO had purchased from Lindsey Racing several years ago, perhaps back in 2004.

I did 16k miles so far and no valve has dropped, but I am still wondering if I am likely to get a major engine failure in the short term.

Who on here has significant experience with those titanium retainers from LR?
How many miles have they been proven to hold so far on a road car?

TIA

honestly, titanium should be fine for a long time. stronger than stock atleast. That being said, be happy they aren't aluminum. I had a set of my old 924 (2.0L) and thank God for the inner spring cuz the outer destroyed the retainer and popped out. still ran but popped like hell! pulled the head and fixed that problem...
