SOLID TRANS & MOTOR MOUNT GOOD OR BAD?
I was thinking of getting Solid motor and trainee mounts. I was wondering what the pro's and con's and if it worth it.

Aside from a lot of vibration and noise transmitted through the body, there's no real reason you couldn't. There may be an alignment issue since the rubber ones allow for a bit of misalignment. Is this to be a street car or track car?

Just curious, why would you want stiffer ones? The stock ones seem to do fine. I don't have any suggestions but am interested in the pros & cons of harder motor mounts.

The solid motor mounts will allow more torque to get to the rear wheels but the vibrations are very severe in a street car.
The solid trans mount will definitely improve shift feel and performance. There will be more gear noise transmitted into the cabin. Some people find this obtrusive, others have found it entertaining.

i actually love gear noise, nothing sexier than a rally-car on the Speed Channel 'whining' it's way around a course
would there be issues using a mix of rubber and solid mounts (ie, clearances or alignment)? i don't want to go w/ solid engine mounts as my car is street-only right now, but have been considering the transaxle and transmission mounts...
