I think I hear my stock wastegate opening...is this possible? At about 5000 rpm, you know, when the stock turbo starts to stop boosting, I am pretty sure I can hear a difference in my exhaust.

How would a wastegate malfunction manifest itself?
Complete lack of boost, early boost start or early boost end?
