Question How does one measure ignition advance?

Hey guys -

Mainly directed at those that have installed an aftermarket EFI system - how have you guys accurately measured the ignition timing to insure that your crank sensor/triggers/magnets are in the right place?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Thanks!

You use an adjustable timing light. Set your advance on the computer at all rpm sites around idle to 10 degrees. Use the timing light to see where it actually is set at. Then go to your magnet postion screen and change it by the amount of advance it's off by. Easy.
