Post Value of used control arms?

Does anyone have any idea what a set of good condition used control arms for a 951S would go for? I have two that I replaced with motorsport arms when I had my 951S (miss that car! ) I'm curious as to what I could sell them for. I don't know the condition of the balljoints, but I didn't replace them for that reason, I replaced them because I didn't want any future ball joint failures while I tracked/auto-x the car.

Any ideas for value?

Ok, I'll take this one....

I think most rebuilders charge a $100 ea core. But, IMO, the arms themselves aren't worth much. It's the good balljoint and bushings that make a good arm. For street, I've rarely seen a broken arm.

I know Sloan at SSI Auto sells a ball joint replacement kit for about $175 with brass bushings instead of the nylon and the front bushings are about $40 each so for about $350 you can rebuild your arms.

Maybe try throwing on ebay and see if anyone nibbles at them.....

I just bought two spares, very clean with good ball joints for $150 Canadian the pair. That's what they were worth to me.

I don't have any "market data" to quote, but I would expect the aluminum control arms to be in the $250-400 range depending on condition. This is because I have heard that new ones are around $500-600???

I spent $150/arm on parts and paid $70/arm for labor to have mine rebuilt. That's a little pricey at $220/arm, but it was done locally and I trust the quality. They showed me the all metal inserts that they used in advance.

My ball joints from Sloan are on the way, so sometime next week, I can let you know how they work out.

Danno also went this way and was very happy with the result.

when I have spares I sell them to a rebuilder (one of the aftermarket parts houses) as cores, for $60.00 each.

that is what they are worth.
