Thanks TCW. I like people to know what they are getting before they buy.

Thx,

I've never noticed an issue with it being loose on my car. It is not as tight as it would be with the bolts intact but there was never a big gap. It was just a snug fit.

I would like to thank zerMatt951 for his understanding and patience with me. The headers were bought as part of a package deal with the block and heads I am building up into a new engine. I assumed that they were crack free.

Between the time that Matt sent me the money and I was about to send them out, I came across a thread that talked about water testing headers for leaks. I tested the headers and...

They leak!

Matt and I discussed what he wanted to do. He mentioned possibly wanting them anyway. After a bit of thought he decided he wanted a refund. I sent that out to him right away.

My lesson from this is to never assume parts are in good shape just because they look good on the outside.

Matt, thanks for being understanding. Good luck finding an uncracked pair.

Hey Eric, no problem. Thanks for taking that really close look before sending them!

I also recently learned that the description "in great condition flanges still solid" on an eBay auction does NOT mean that there are no cracks. Unfortunately, I didn't learn that until I had the headers in my possession and quickly spotter cracks on 3 of the 4 flanges. Fortunately, the seller will take them back for a refund. Lesson learned...

Anybody got a used set or LR or SFR headers sitting around that they are trying to find a new home for?

Thanks E!

I may be a crap talking a-hole on the internet but I will NEVER be a crook or a jerk in a business transaction.

I've bought a couple parts from other listers that were not exactly what I was told they were. My first thoughts were, "Was this an honest mistake or did I get screwed". I don't want to have anyone thinking that I screwed them over on purpose or by accident.

Both times it happened to me, the other listers came through and I was satisfied with the transaction.

If they are coated, you suck. If not, you are ok in my book. I paid $700 for a coated set and thought I got a great deal. Congrats either way!

BTW, pics or it didn't happen.

I bid on those headers too, but picked between escort cup coilovers and these headers, so I went with coilovers

If you didn't sell batwing yet and if it is possible to somehow send it here, I want it.

its 11:44 AM here

If you can figure out how to ship from Arizona 85085 USA to your place, I could ship it. I can pack it, I just need to know what shipping company and you would cover all shipping costs plus insurance.

Still have the batwing? Let me know and I may take it instead of repairing mine at the fender well bolt surface...again.
