I'm in the area too...however after visiting Bill's house (it's all his fault ya know) :-) my car blew a head gasket. I'm running simple mods for now like an authority stage II chip...but soon I should be getting Danno's new MAP stage II kit. If you still can't find someone to give you aride in the next 2 weeks or so let me know...I'm in the san jose area.

Norman,
If your still looking for a ride once I have my car running I would be willing to drive up there to show you what my mods can do!
Danno,
i would love to pair up with you in the future as a co-driver. Of course, I will let my driving do the talking once I'm up and running. When I had my moded 1987 VW GTI w/ street tires I was still able to beat up on M3, 911, and 3rd Gen RX7's at auto-x's

it's easy to control in a 951. There's not as much of the low end tq that's gonna throw you off the track <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> like a viper that makes 290rwtq @ 2k rpms
