Post dyno results

Dynoed my new 951 last night. It was modified by the prior owner and I wasn't sure what he had done for mods and I was concerned (of course) about air/fuel ratios.

The car has has 33,000 original miles, a K-27, headers, AJRacing Computers and reliaboost. The car hit 303 HP at 315 lbs of torque at 5400 rpms (boost was around 15 psi at that point). Max Torque was around 340 at 17 psi peak boost which was around 4300 rpms. The car had a nice flat fuel curve with it ranging 11.5:1 to 12.5:1.

Both great questions...the PO didn't know if it was a #6 or a #8 and didn't keep the receipt...so I really have no idea (one of the reasons I wanted to dyno it....the guy wasn't sure what he had done to the car and didn't have any receipts except the maintenance receipts)

Back in 1990 AJ USA used to be AJRacing...the PO bought a HP package from them that included the headers, K-27, Test pipe (which is no longer on the car) and new KLR and DME computers (not just the chips). I have not opened the computers so besides chips I don't know what else they could have changed. The metal computer boxes are both stamped AJUSA...If anyone knows anything about these I would love to know

Numbers indicate a #8 to me, and those look like good chips to turn that a/f ratio and power without an MAF. Do you have a 3bar FPR or adjustable? I assume AJRacing is Alex Job Racing, a long time Porsche racer, I really enjoyed watching his MID-engined 911 race car a few years ago...too bad it didn't do better.

Revision... Oops, a little late on my post and I guess I was wrong on AJRacing. Sorry.

My initial run was with the stock FPR and I was running just a little lean through all RPM(although just as level)...so we switched it to a 3 Bar FPR and it dropped the O2 down at all RPM levels to a level that overall is just a little rich until the high end where it drops to about 12.5:1

Did you get a print out of the dyno run that you can scan and post? I'd like to see it, and looking at the spool-up will give another indication of the hot house size.

When you said above that torque went to 340 with 17 psi, was that to imply that the hp did go any higher with it? Did the dyno record manifold pressure also? Thanks.
