I recently replaced my turbo with a rebuilt K26/6 and the car will not boost over 5psi no matter what I do. Car pulls strong and runs fine but nothing over 5 psi on my mech gauge. I've removed the line from my Forge MBC to the wastegate, no "apparent" exhaust or intake leaks, all new hoses, clamps, and seals. I removed the wastegate and operated it by hand with a hand pump and it opens and snaps shut normally. Any ideas ???


I have not checked the Forge DV yet but the diaphram in it is new as of just before the turbo replacement.

What wastegate are you using? TIAL, Lindsey Racing, stock, etc.?

I figured it out. There was a small tear in my Forge DV diaphragm. New 710N installed and back to full boost.
