Help with Peddle requested
This is probably a no brainer for the rest of you.
I am removing my carpet and can't see an easy way to lift the accelerator peddle on my '87 951.
This can't be difficult...or can it?

The pedal attaches at the floor so there must be a way to unbolt it and slide out the carpet....

I'm laughing as I read your response. This is really funny. If you think you aren't all that competent with these cars to begin with they make every effort to insure that you remain that way.
I'm told there are two bolts behind the peddle which can be removed...I have no idea how I'll get to them...but we shall see.
I thought this would be a quick job and I'd be up and running. Little did I know.
