how long does it take to rebuild motor?

Default how long does it take to rebuild motor?

any idea how long it would take to rebuild the 3.0l bottom end...working 3-4hrs/day plus week ends?

You have to be a little more specific on what you mean by rebuilding the bottom end. Someone with the right tools and know how can reassemble a bottom end in half a day easily. If you want to tweak it closer to perfection make that a whole day (checking every clearance and getting all bearings just where you want them). The stuff that takes a little more time is getting everything prepped for assembly. Balancing all the parts, checking the crank journals and polishing them, cleaning everything so that it is practically sterile before assembly – that all takes some time.

Your project should be easier than most since all the internals are recently recondition. I would still check everything (Just the way I am!). If you have the new block and the old engine ready you should b able to do the bottom end in a day.
