Question New Tial Wastgate install question

I am not currently running a BC with this so I will only be using the spring rate. Question is...the top and side vacuum lines, will I want to hook them up, leave them open, or plug them. I believe that I would normally run the side fitting to the cycling valve.

TIA

The 6 hours at the Glen this weekend was fantastic. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

I'm at work so I can't go look right now. I ran mine for a week without the boost controller. When I ran off the cycling valve it would hit up to 20psi(nooo good). I then bypassed the cycling valve and ran directly off the intercooler pipe banjo bolt. With a .95bar spring(35mm Tial) it peaked and held 9psi. I believe it is the side port you hook to the vacuum/boost and you leave the top open until you get the BC.

Cycling valve should be bypassed with this dual-port wastegate. Either keep the electrical harness connector plugged in at the cycling valve or unplug it altogether. I have a 46mm Tial with the 1 bar spring and no BC.

A word of caution: the Tial does not install exactly as it appears that it should. The dumptube needs to be modified by cutting and welding. Speak with Huntley or maybe SFR about the correct install. My old mechanic screwed this up on my car and it was a very expensive nightmare trying to figure it all out. Good luck.
