3.0 bar FPR not enough?
I just put a 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator on my car. I put it on because I recently installed a lcd digital air/fuel meter that only indicated 0.75 volts at wide open throttle in 4th gear. After installing the new fpr it still only says 0.75. My car is an 86 951 with Europroducts chips, shimmed wastegate, and Lindsey boost enhancer. I am peaking at 15 psi in 4th gear. I have the stock airbox w/K&N filter. I was hoping the air fuel mixture would have been better?

These A/F gauges that run off of our stock O2 sensors are not very acurate. You really should get your car tested with a wideband sensor then use your A/F gauge to let you know when something changes.

Or at the least, get a good 4 wire O2 sensor, Alpine, did you replace your stock sensor when you installed your meter? If not, you might be ( and I think you are) pouring the fuel in and not reading a good sample. This can be bad.

What do you see at idle?
does it bounce around? or stay constant?
How did you ground the a/f meter?
See my thread on the 924/44 board (2nd page right now i think) entitled "a/f gauge readings analysis"
Make sure its acting correctly before you trust it.

John Anderson,
Why do I need to replace the sensor when I put in the gauge?
Adrial,
Yeah, I saw your post. My gauge dithers all over driving and idling.

I grounded the meter to the same wire that the radio was using for a ground. I saw on your post recommending going straight to the negative terminal on the battery.
