Is this right?
I ran with a c4 conv. vette from 70-150 in 5th and we started basically even/same time. I thought i'd smoke him so left it at 1 bar and 5th gear. I only pulled maybe 1 car on him. Don't know if he was stock, downshifted, modded,etc. I have HR 4MAF, 2 turbo , ignition... stock injectors Do I need 50 something injectors or what do you guys think? We both gave thumbs up and it was an open road.

Starting from 70mph, you'd want to use 3rd gear! Then you'd smoke him for sure!

Pulled 1 car on him from 70 in FIFTH - that's great. So basically you had a 8 to 1 compression 4 banger with about 90 hp. for almost half of your run and you still whoped him - excellent.

I'm going to be racing a c4 pretty soon. I'll let you know how it goes. it's stock. My car just has a chip and a MBC at 16 now. we're going to do a 40 to 120 so, I don't know. he has a torque advantage, but I have a top end advantage.

they only vette id worry about is a zr-1 or a c5. I ran a c5 and he took me until 3rd gear-I started pulling him again. About even in the end. a c4 would be easy id think...

I timed 75-120 in 4th and 5th gears. 3.5s faster in 4th @ 1 bar

Always downshift, especially if you are in 5th.

Now this c4 guy thinks he has a good car. Try to find him and smoke him good nexttime <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
