Default Coolant Leak

I just bought a used Auxiliary Cooling Pump for my 87 951, because it does not work. I just took a look at the part and it is the top cylindar shaped pump, but when I took a closer look there is a small black piece under the pump that has antifreeze leaking from it. I took a picture and attached it so everyone can see what I mean.

Could someone please assist on why that is leaking, and what that part is/what it does etc? Would changing the Aux. Cooling pump fix the leak?

That's pretty common
The O Ring is leaking ...
I replaced mine with an O Ring from OSH Hardware
Not a easy O ring to find ....
but its pretty easy to take apart
The screws are usually pretty rusted .. but because its in plastic its easy to take apart
Good Luck
Regards
