Default Constantine rebuilt Torque Tube pics

I just received my Constantine rebuilt TT and it is a work of art. The Super Bearings are silky smooth. It looks so good it's almost a shame it has to go under the car. I would highly recommend Constantine and Black Sea R&D as he provides an amazing service and is dedicated to providing an unparalleled product.

Looks nice! Too bad the TT is a PITA to remove! Good luck shoe horning it back in!

You're going to love it. Dead nuts quiet too. I didn't realize how bad my bearings were until I got the new one installed! Great product, great to deal with and this is the only way a torque tube should be rebuilt.

Looks really nice, I especially like the funoodle as packing.

Is that your mechanic assistant pictured too? Looks like he could help hold up one end of that TT

Thank you for the kudos!

Yes, pool noodles do the job quite well as does some PVC pipe fittings to protect the protruding drive shaft end. We had to figure out a way to protect it even if the shipper stands the rebuilt TT on it's end. So far our packing job of TTs has not had any disaster stories at the receiving end, even as far as the Great White North.

The TT we just did above also includes a new safety hook "ear" we had to replace since one had been cut in half with a torch by someone who had obviously done a clutch job without removing the transmission or TT from the car. The one we replaced is the closest to Mr. Bulldog toward the engine end.

We have gotten in more than a few we these "modifications" and instead of just scrapping the TTs we decided to refurbish them. Just takes some patience.

Cheers,

Thanks gents, and thank you to Constantine for the incredible product!

He does an amazing job of packaging the TT in a protective manner, so I enlisted Otis the Bulldog to assist. Otis works cheap....Bud Light, and a ride along with the window down.
