Default Alignment woes

A couple of years ago, I got hit in the driver's front fender. Don't know how, because I don't think it made contact w/the tire, but it knocked that wheel out about 3 deg- camber; you could tell just by casually eyeballing it. When I got it aligned last year after buying new tires, the alignment shop said they took 2 1/2 deg camber out of that side. Well, last week I was changing out my front sway bar bushings and I notioce that the driver's front tire is wearing on the very inside. I get my level out that I use to check such thing w/on my 951 & 928 and I still have a full degree camber after adjusting the eccentric all the way. Turned that shock piston, but nothing changed. Has anyone checked front steering knuckle for accuracy? Should I just swap out steering knuckle? I have all new body parts, as I am planning to strip & repaint the car this summer. Thanks.
