Post Wastegate Opinions

I've given up trying to get the 40mm tial welded on. I finally found a shop that I trusted to do it and he wanted $200 plus keep the car for 3 days. I'm now doing what I should have done in the first place. Buy a bolt on. Need opinions between 35mm tial bolt on from speedforceracing or the lindsey racing wastegate. I'd like to buy it tommorrow so quick replies would be great. TIA.

I can just reply for the LR wastegate. It was a easy to put in. I would advise going ahead and double nutting the studs and get them out if you don't have the updated flange. Also wait and put the side port fitting on once the wastegate is in. Don't be afraid to hit the heat shielding a bit with a hammer if you have to, it will move a bit and that was all I needed to get mine in with ease. I took a grinder and cut off the first mounting nut with the wastgate mounting flange too. All told I guess it was about 3 hrs for me. That included getting the new tubing hooked up.

Get a manual controller too if don't already have one.

Good luck

I love my LR wastegate. my k26/6 holds 15 pounds to redline.

Just dont break up your oil pan gasket while trying to break the old unit free of the inlet pipe!!

Oh man, Luke! Why was your wastegate hooked up to your inlet???

I think I am going to get the 46mm tial. It bolts on the the crossover pipe, and only needs fabrication to hook up the the exhaust. But, if your dumping to atmosphere, who cares, right?

Just kidding. Welcome to the board.
