How come there is no plug over the inspection hole in the bell housing. I am talking about the inspection hole towards the back of the engine bay BELOW the heater recirculation valve that tends to crack and leak coolant into the housing ? Is my plug just missing or what ?

yes yours is missing, get one soon as road debris like small stones can work their way into that housing a potential problem if you get me
