Knocking sound while accelerating

Default Knocking sound while accelerating
My car has started to make a loud knocking sound when I am accelerating. It stops instantly if I depress the clutch pedal. It sounds like it is coming from the back or trans area. It is 100% vehicle speed related. It is not related to engine speed. Any ideas?
