Please post some pics of your rims.
I am considering getting new wheels. I would just like to see all the wheels out there. I used to be pretty fond of the turbo twists in chrome, as I have a vlack car and i think that chrome wheels look great on black. But I am open to many different options now, because I have sen so many other great rims. Does anyonehave 3 piece twists with a polished lip and a silver center. Also what types of things should I look for in rims and what kinda of prices to expect. TIA

mine are MAK Force 8 & 9*18 with 225/40-18 and 265/35-18..

I have some FRH International 3-piece wheels with the turbo twist on my 86 in 17" size. They have a chrome lip and silver center section.

blu951 the ruf speedlines arn't made anymore but you can find them ( <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2413931772&category=38662" target="_blank">ruf auction</a> ). i'm running 8X10X17 et 56.7 all the way around and they fit great w/o spacers...i had to take a belt sander to my drivers side caliper (about .010"s off) because under hard braking rights a spoke blade would hit the "porsche" script. i also had the rear fender lips cut back a cm, though in the pics my rear ride hieght is still set high...i havent had time to bring the *** down since the fenders were cut. i paid a grand for mine, rims only and just refinished, high polished which i then had sanded, primed, resprayed and clear coated to the color you see in the photo....i wasn't expecting him to paint over the "ruf" though heheh ohhh well it will be a good on "the porch w/ a couple of <img border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" title="" src="graemlins/drink.gif" /> s project" to rebrush in the black back in. ruf wheels are forged...notoriously heavy but the are also very strong.

ps: that auction is for 9" rears which have a 44 offset i think...listers sweanders and porscheg96 run/ran (anders car is no more ...black ice) that size..i'm not sure if they need spacers in the back.

does anyone have pics of turby's old car?? if i remember correctly he had 3 pc twists on that monster.

I LOVE these wheels! I got mine last spring on consignment up in Washington and spent a couple weeks cleaning them up in my back yard. I have the 8x17 and 9x17 sizes and had no idea they made a 10x17, that's pretty cool. What tire size are you running on the rear? The sizes I'm running require no spacers on my 968, I'm keeping these wheels forever.

g96 i'm running 275/45's in the rear which fit on the rim and in the wells perfectly.... a major overkill for the power i'm making but i'll get to power upgrades later (after i finish suspension...then brakes...then lsd...then track time til' more power is necessary....and buy a house somewhere in the middle of all that).

ringo...i dont know twistes too well but arnt those boxster twists?

On my last 951 I had speedline split cup 18"" and I loved them!
Unfortunaly they followed my car when I sold it 2 years ago...

On my present TurboCup I bought AEZ Olymp wheels
235/18 tires in front and 285/18 at the rear. I think the AEZ rims are more then ok and they have
some kind of retro style with fellings from the
old Fuchs wheels but they have one problem and
that is the weight. But I can probarbly live with that on the street, I use another set of rims on
the track...
