Although I really like DanD's Gotti wheels! Gives his car a tough musclecar look to it...

Keith,
Looks nice! What is your car lowered with? And is it only the front? Thanks!

Danno you mean to tell me that you don't have any clearance issues, those babies are huge.

"Do they get hot enough to be effective?"

Sure! Heat in the tires is just a function of cornering SPEED! I've gotten a set of A032Rs to over 200-F across the entire tread before.

"don't have any clearance issues"

The rear 315/35-17 tires rub on both the inside & outside at anything more than 1/2 suspension travel. The front 275/40-17 tire will only allow me to turn the wheel 3/4-turn to each side before they rub the fenders.

I can deal with the rear by pounding out a 6" section directly in front of the tire where the fender curves inward (right by patch of square stoneguard material).

The fronts... I wish there was a wide 17" tire in 25" diameter (like a 285/35-17)! I think I can get away with 1" wider front fenders. But I'm going to make them out of steel, none of this fibreglass cheating stuff...

Here's a poor picture of the Gottis. There are some nice examples around. On of the few aftermarket wheels once sold in the early offset. I now own 2 sets for the track car. This is a pictue of my one and only concours win with the "Deuce". (Class win, 2 cars)

Danno definatly has the biggest tires I've ever seen on a street driven car.

Danno, you on the road again?
