Tony, will that work on a stock air setup (ie, direct bolt on replacement for OEM) or do I need a MAF/MAP setup to make it work?

Thanks.

Yes the Forge Valve will work with the stock setup.

Did you notice that it looks almost exactly the same as the stock valve?

The Forge Valve is all metal, with connections in the same configuration as the stock valve.

The only physical difference is in the diameter of the valve. This one is about 25% larger than the stock valve, but will fit into the stock location. It's tight... but it fits.

It looks stock too when installed (except the fact that it's a gloss black instead of the factory flat plastic black).

It's also rebuildable and tunable. From what I'm told, you can get different spring rate springs for the valve.

It's definitely worth the $149 that the thing lists for.

I thought the pop off valve was what they fitted to CIS 911's to keep backpressure down on start up. SO they don't blow up their air boxes LMAO

Luke -

Actually, the CIS pop-off valve is there for backfires (which happen all too often in the CIS cars). When the car backfires, it blows the factory airbox which is a PITA to replace, and also costs like 350 bucks.
