Default MAF install, look OK so far?

Just want to get some eyes on the MAF orientation before I go any further. Took a little while to get it to fit, but it doesn't interfere with the headlight operation and it seems OK to me, but I haven't done this before...

Whose maf is that? Looks ok to me as well, you may end up moving it around at some point but it won't be bad to move as everything is there

Thanks for taking a look guys. If I'm not happy with it I'll send it back to the vendor.

Where did you buy it from, does it have a translator built in? I know there was one a few years back that was plug and play.

Its the new Quad-M setup from Lindsey. It does have the dial to select various fueling profiles.

Based on how fast you took yours apart you'll have it back together long before me.

Don't worry, based on our current weather we still have 3 months til Spring.

Only problem I had with the fitment/positioning of mine was that it pushed down too much on the back bracket of the headlight. I had to physically bend the tab down so that the headlight would not stick up slightly. Since you don't have the nose panel on, I can't tell from your pics whether or not this is going to be an issue for you. Not a big deal though, you can wait until you get the nose panel reinstalled and deal with it then if you need to.

Great tip, thanks for that! I hope to get to the nose panel this weekend, hopefully all is well but I hadn't thought of that.
