I bought a Sparco strut bar off E-bay from a fellow 944 owner. I was told it would work on a 944 turbo. I know think that is incorrect. It looks like my air conditioning plumbing by the strut tower on the drivers side gets in the way. Also, the heat shield around the brake booster (the one with the rubber top) looks like it might be in the way too. Does anyone know if this bar is made only for a 944 NA? Are the other bars out there (brey krauss, etc.) a one size fits all or do they have two different bars (one for turbo & one for N/A)?

 

I bought a Racing Dynamics bar off Ebay that the owner claimed was from a 944 turbo. Turns out it was from an early NA. A lot of people think they are all the same.

I just resold mine and made an extra buck for a change

See if the guy will take it back.
