Well we have an event here called "Drift Water" that's a monthly event. It's 40 drivers on a road course (Blackwater Advanced Driving Course) in NC. $100 per entry and the event has a full safety crew on site. Open track from 8am-12pm lunch break for 1 hour and open track from 1pm - 4pm. Unlimited Laps and there's two sides of the track and sometimes it becomes a compound track for "super laps".

Here's the track layout:

This place is only about an hour away from my house and I've taken my previous cars to most of the events. The KWs are looking more and more attractive. I'd just like to drive/ride a car with a set before I make the leap.

Looks like a great venue especially with the future track possibilities.

They've started running that section. That map is from the...3rd event I think. We're on the 10th one on the 27th this month.

Take a look on the KW USA website for distributors. There were not many around when i bought them 2 years ago but there are much more now due to how popular they have become.

eShocks.com is a reputable place.. i have bought shocks from them before and also many gauges through the sister site eGauges.com. They have probably the lowest you will find them for at $2500. I ordered them local shop that is a distributor for $2400 shipped.

Thanks, do they offer setups for running the stock torsion bars in conjunction with the rear coilovers? I don't really want to lower the car much if at all as I like the height it's at and I'm going to be putting slightly wider tires on the car so the sidewall height will increase a bit.

They are meant to be run with the stock torsion bars. The setup instructions state to drop the rear ride height using the spring plate to even out the ride height. I was skeptical at this setup at first but it works well. This is the lowest i can go right now with where the torsion bars are at. I plan to reindex the torsion bars next winter so where its at now is midway in the adjustment.

I dont have too many good pictures showing the ride height but this is where i ended with the rear settled. I havent looked at the car in a while but if i remember right it was like 1 finger width wheel gap.

Tires are 275/45/17

Replace all suspension with better materials and use the poly bronze bushings where available. The KW V3 setup along with updating the rest of the suspension components transforms the car, but still OK for the street.

I can't type today. I meant to say replace all old rubber suspendion bushings with modern materials. The plly bronze parts are expensive, but work very well.
