Clutch Pedal

Clutch Pedal
I recently had alot of free play in my clutch. Brought it in to see if anything could be done and low and behold a bleeding of the system was done and this thing felt brand new. Night and day. It was mentioned it was a bit moist down in the pedal area and would be looking at having to have the cylinders and line be replaced eventually. About a week after the bleed and when the car was cold I pushed down on the pedal and it remained down. I had to pull it back up with force and not like the auto pop back up I experienced before the bleed. After pulling it up the one time it behaved normally and had no issues. Got in it the other day and the pedal stuck again. I pulled it back up, but this time it sticks every time I press down and the car is pretty much un-driveable. At this point I'm going to have to have it towed, but was wondering if there was anything I can do to even get it temporarily working so I can drive it.

I recommend you replace the master cylinder, slave cylinder, rubber hose between them and the feed hose from the brake resivoir to the M/C. Bleed system and drive. If you don’t see fluid leaking at the slave cylinder then check behind the M/C behind the clutch pedal, you may find that it’s leaking there. I’ve replace everything due to age and my M/C was leaking. It happens,
