no boost

I installe an a'pexi avc-r and now I have no boost. The unit reads all channels. all the guages show boost but, no boost. even when I shut the control off. does the waste gate need pressue or vacuum to open?

I don't quite understand your post you say "all the guages show boost but, no boost." Does the AVC-R show you are creating boost? If you have the AVC-R off you will not get much boost because it automatically sends the signal to open the waste gate when it is off. If you have a factory waste gate exhaust pressure opens it some on it's own. The signal line that connects to the solenoid uses pressure to open the waste gate.

There are plenty of people here who know how the AVC-R work. What are you having trouble with?
You don't want to mess with any of the extra features until it learns the boost curve for your car. Set it to the boost you want to run then set the duty cycle at 50% do a run in third gear see what boost you get and adjust it until you are close without going over. The duty cycle will change to ** when it is right then it will learn to keep the boost the same through out the RPM range as you drive it.
