Silver Rose/ burgundy plaid int fabric source?
If I can't find a replacement leather interior for my 88, silver rose...anyone know of a source for Porsche OEM fabrics. I realize that the burgundy plaid interior fabric wasn't produced in large volume. But hoping to find someone who either knows of a Porsche interior restoration shop or wants to part with their seats. I'm trying to repair a torn drivers side bolster. Thanks for your help.....

I was looking at purchasing a Silver Rose about two months ago, it need the multi colored seats restored. By doing a search on Rennlist it was mention there was an outlet in England but they no longer carry it. About a month ago some on Ebay had some it went at around five hundred enough to do two seats. Then looked a converting the interior to Burgundy leather and the appropriate door panels. Another car I looked at he converted to Burgundy and put the original seats in storage. I sure if you long enough there is some out there somewhere .
Good luck

May not be of much help, but I remember some one recently posting here or on Pelican the name and www address of a company in Australia that has ALL of the Porsche fabrics in stock, including the plaid, pasha, and script. Do a search on both boards and you'll probably find it....

Glad that I could help! Australia/New Zealand, I was close...
You can return the favor, since you are in Arizona, stop in at Powerhaus and pick up a 968 Turbo S conversion for me. Thanks! <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

Just checked and they do not have it in the correct color (only gray and black pattern).

Though it looks like another great shop to keep in my list.

Classic9 Leathershop in Michigan can make an entire seat-cover in the colors and fabrics of your choice. Pricey, and then you have to find a local ulpholsterer do the work or they do it in their Michigan shop (Dearborn Heights).

Get in touch with them. They may not list it on their site. Friend of mine bought from them for his Silberrosa about a year ago.

Hey, there’s a Silver Rose 944 being restored, I think in Ohio. Their Instagram is 944_silver_rose. They have pictures of their seats and they look good. Perhaps they can tell you where they got their material. I’m all for preserving the Silver Rose 944s, they are certainly special.
