Post standalone engine managment DTA, autronic, SDS

I know people have installed the SDS in 951's...
but what about DTA and autronic??

<a href="http://www.sdsefi.com" target="_blank">http://www.sdsefi.com</a>
<a href="http://www.dtafast.co.uk/" target="_blank">http://www.dtafast.co.uk/</a>
<a href="http://www.davesport.com/autronic.htm" target="_blank">http://www.davesport.com/autronic.htm</a>

What else do I need besides the brain itself to make them work?
The auto learn feature of autronic is VERY attractive...

Tec III is just out of my price range...

I'm tired of half-@$$ mods...If curious why read here:

I am waiting for the Link+ Danno is making it a plug in replacement for the factory DME and LKR. I didn't go into much detail with him since he doesn't have one setup yet but I did download the software and I like what I see so far.

adrial,

I definately think that going to stand alone engine management is a worth while step (not that I have done it yet). Keep in mind that you can get a Tec3 for the price of the Autronic SM2. But I definately think the Autronic with the Autotune is still a good device. You could probably do just fine with the original Autronic SM.

I think Stand Alone is one of the best mods for these cars. I am presently saving $$ for a TEC III from Chris White at 944 enhancement. I plan on getting about 3 or 4 add on features,,try to keep it under $4k.

That includes a software package that is set up for your car, as Chris as several "profile" packages ready to go, to get you up and running. Every car is different but Chris has software for stock turbo & injectors, a turbo capable of running 18psi & 52, 55, or 72# injectors. That's a big plus in getting your cars dailed in, or is for me; living a hour and half from a dyno.

Just so you guys know, we have been installing TEC systems on cars longer then anybody else on the list.We developed the trigger mounts, intake pipes adaptor brackets, programs, etc..... that many people are copying and using now.

I just wanted to say that I was not implying that Chris white was copying or stealing our designs. Sorry if it seemed that way.
