And Jeff, I got everything in your order this time!

I am going to guess that you got a real cold blast of air like the rest of us!

BTW – if you really want to have fun with the USPS they do advertise that they will come and pick up any boxes for shipping. If you use their online shipping services they even have lower postage fees.

I am planning to purchase the proper crimping tool, as I also plan to do this all more than once... once I have it in hand for the promise of first born I will be willing to loan it out... but be advised, it will be on a you break it you buy it basis, and the tool and die are north of $700.... even off ebay...

$209 and $502 respectfully...

Digikey used to carry one that would work...
Part numbers were:
Crimp tool part number 43149-ND
Tool Head either 43151-ND (22-18 awg) or 43150-ND (22-14 awg)

leaving the only other real option a $40 single crimp action tool..

got one from a snap-on guy, but it wasn't snap-on. I will check at work tomorrow at what it is. It has a ratcheting action and different heads. super cheap and works really well. maybe around $50 IIRC
