Default Tension Roller for Camshaft Timing Belt question

Does anyone know if there is any difference in size between
944.105.631.06 and 944.105.631.04 Tension Roller for Camshaft Timing Belt (Toothed Gear). The 06 seems to be listed as superseding the 04 on the parts sites...
The reason I ask is that the one coming off my car is apparently bigger than the 944.105.631.04 I have just received in my belts and rollers kit.

This is for an 89 944T.
cheers

The 87-89 uses the bigger roller (06). The 04 is for the 86.

The 87-89 turbos has a spring ‘auto’ tensioner and the tension roller is a fixed part. The 86 has an eccentric mounting point for the tensioner since it’s a manual tensioned belt. Very different parts.

I was planning on buying the belts and roller kit for my 88 951. I noticed on ebay that they listed the individual part numbers of the parts (unlike pelican parts) for the same kit (pelican: TB-107-293-K2-M21 & ebay: TB107-293K2).

They list
(1) Timing Belt (944 105 157 04 )
(1) Balance Shaft Belt (944 102 219 04)
(1) Balance Shaft Tensioner (944 102 025 07)
(1) Balance Shaft Idler (944 102 277 06)
(1) Timing Belt Idler (944 105 241 04)
(1) Timing Belt Idler (944 105 631 04)

Hally, did you buy this kit?

Thanks,

Athar
