Default 4032 Mahle P to C wall clearance

Not for a 951 but for a WRX

Have some recommendations from the Mahle salesman but of course it is on the big side - maybe he gave me tolerances for the wrong alloy...saying .0025" to .0033" - too large in my opinion. Engine will be 350hp maximum.

Curious how close people have run these types of pistons in aluminum blocks

.0025 sounds about right for alusil cylinder wall clearance, That's the spec on my wossners for my 2.5 alusil turbo 944. Also keep in mind, your talking about GERMAN made pistons with specific material that will pertain better to the aluminum block . and ofcourse special moly rings for alusil and iron plating on the skirts..........................unless you sleeved the block, then you can run JE pistons just fine.
