Sucks you bought these from a dealership. You can get the kit new from Paragon for less than $365. Good luck with the sale, but you may have to lower the price a bit.

Is it the same oem kit from paragon or a aftermarket kit?

Actually, last time I checked, Sunset Imports in Oregon was even less expensive, $348 shipped, I thought. Sorry to spoil the original posters thread, but I thought its pretty much common knowledge around here about Sunset.

Sunset in Oregon still sells the complete conversion kit for $287 when I checked just 2 months ago. I needed to price the 968 mirror kit I sold with my project car...I sold mine for $175.

Edit: Someone beat me to the Sunset plug!

Maybe I can polish them and decrease the drag coefficient.

I'd love to come back with an engineering reason for not doing so, but I got nuthin'. lol Altho, buying the higher priced mirror set does leave less weight in your wallet, so that will make you faster, right?

DDAAAAAAAAAAAMN that is CHEAP!!! I officially now have ZERO reason not to go ahead and order these.

My sincerest apologies to the OP as I feel I've ruined your post. Feel free to publically stone me.

My next project is fully polishing a 951, by my RL engineering qualifications I expect a higher top end speed.

Honestly, if I were Vortex.....knowing what he is obviously going to know now after reading all of this, I'd just return them to that Porsche dealership esp since he's got the receipt. I'd rather do that than have to let them go for half of what someone obviously paid for them.
