Default Coolant Leak

I took my car in for an oil change today and since it was my friend who's shop I took it to I had him take off the skid plates and look around since I know there is a slight oil leak and a coolant leak. The picture below is where the coolant leak is coming from. I have no idea what it is, neither did he (He normally doesn't work on German cars) He said there is a coolant and water hose and something that connects to the turbo attached to it. Any ideas what this part is?

Thanks.

Ok for some reason I can't download the image you attached, and it's pretty small on my screen - but it looks like the turbo coolant pump. It's a separate electric pump that cycles coolant through the turbo for 30 seconds or so after you shut the car down.

Thats what I thought it was too. Why would it leak? Is it a clamp on one or more of the hoses?

I had one of the rubber hoses at the bottom of the pump crack on mine which caused a pretty significant leak. I don't remember it being very difficult to replace. I just pulled the hose and took it to a local auto shop and they made me a new one.

It's the trubo coolant pump. Not difficult to fix. The pump should be attached to a bracket bolted to the strut tower. There is a short hose that goes from the pump to the turbo.

The picture for some reason wasn't able to upload...Lart, your eyes are fine.

I did order a new aux pump from 944 online yesterday so I'll replace that and hopefully stop the coolant leak, then tackle the oil leak when I replace the entire exhaust system.
