It happened months ago, but it just popped into my head for some reason. I have Bilstein Escort Cup Struts on the front of my 951, but have not taken the rear coilovers (Escort Cups) off of the race car to put on yet, so its still the torsion bar setup. When my car hits boost (18-19psi), I can't turn the car well at all, the front just gets too light. Would changing to the stiffer coilovers help this? I feel as if it is dangerous to drive my car with it doing that. May sound like a stupid question, but I figured I'd ask.

Sounds like you're getting understeer when the weight transfers to the back under acceleration. That is normal.

Yeah I knew it was normal, but it's more violent than it used to be. Oh well. Ill put the coilovers on I guess.

Wheelie bars?

Seriously – are you talking about the initial surge at boost or anytime the boost is up? If its during the initial surge you may have weak shocks, if its all the time then it might be an alignment issue.

It's the initial surge. Weak shocks would be understandable, as the car sat for a number of years, and judging by their condition, they are original. I'm trying to get the coilovers off of the old race car today to install them and the M030 rear sway bar.
