Default Turbo S/ 928 S4 calipers on early offset 951.

I tried searching but I couldn't exactly get a clear answer. I have an 86 951, and so far I have a set of 928 S4 calipers, and mounting brackets to adapt them to the spindle.

Which rotors do I need to install?

And I do have a set of late offset D90 rims with spacers, will this be ok?

Thanks in advance

The hub and rotor set up on the 86's were a different than the 87 and latter models. The brake rotors mounted to the backside of the hub on 86's and the rotors mount on the outside of the hub (picture of removed suspension parts) on 87 and later models (picture of mounted upgraded suspension with 993TT rotors and aftermarket top hats mounted on 88S hubs and spindles) the rotor mounts on the front side. You would definitely need 87+ hubs if you use Turbo S rotors and I am uncertain that they would fit on the 86 spindles.

951kaos is right, 86's have diff setups. Lindsey Racing has the correct hats to mount 993 floating rotors on your car. That said, 993 rotors are 322mm vs 308 for the s4/turboS, so you'll need radial spacers like Mark Kibort has made for 928's. Or like already mentioned, you can swap your control arms/hubs/spindles to the 87+ setup and run stock turbo S rotors.

Quick Reply: Turbo S/ 928 S4 calipers on early offset 951.
