Yes saw that on the Racer Forums. Great video. Wondered on the (!) light going on and off though? Some are suggesting he's cycling the ABS reset.
Those cars were light and loose. A different style of driving.

The original German TC series cars actually ran with cat converters. There are also factory motorsport exhaust systems that are the stock 2.5" w/ no cat and no muffler, and have a small resonator can right after the rear section flange.

Weren't the 4" exhausts made by Walker? I remeber that from an old factory spec sheet.

250 HP 944 turbo cup car. A production car on Pirelli race slicks.
All you people that think you need 350 HP, 400 HP, 450 HP, etc. are just crazy.

Its amazing how your driving style changes when you don’t own the car or have to pay for repairs!

I do not know the originality of that piece. A separate picture shows a serial number on it (the originals did have a unique SN), but I dont know if its actual or not. The condition of the tip looks suspect to me, as you generally see the back section with a bright, near polished finish on the SS. I also don't how many replacements were made or additional units sold to aftermarket vendors and elsewhere, so I don't know how probable it would be for you to have had a real RCTC exhaust system.

The one I had was exactly the same where it's crimped down and welded at the tie-in pipes. And the rear hangers were the same (angle iron). But, no serial # - I would have noticed that.
