Default DIY Delrin

Does anybody have any experience with making your own Delrin suspension bushings? This might be a good DIY project for a mini lathe/mill.

We mill out parts for custom radar detector installs at work, and one of the local crew here mills the stuff up for bushings, etc. it's a very easy material to work with.

Yeah, easy if you've got a mill/lathe. Previous owner of a turbo ford escort I had turned his own delrin bushings for all the suspension. Even with 250#F/200#R springs it had zero body roll and was extremely stiff as the bushings took out any bit of slack. Was a fun car.

I used to make all my own bushings for my crane.... They are all square with threaded holes though.

Its easy stuff to work with. A wood lathe would work just fine.
