Default F-in corvettes!!! now whats up with my car?

so im going to tell a short story and then ask a question.... the storry will tell you what i did and the question will ask what the hell happened....

some of you may get on my case for this but it was a must.... what do you think?

story:
i was leaving my house to go to work, i was sitting at the stop sign to this road that goes through the woods, so no one is really ever on it. a c6 corvette Z06 with some aero kit and some loud *** exhaust went my me and he was eyeing up my car real bad. i pulled out and he slowed down, this road is single lane each way. he went to turn in to a housing development so i went to pass him, regularly, not all fast or anything, and he just punched it going up the center of the damn road!!! i dont normally do this but when a douche is being retarted and driving in the wrong lane i have to shut him up.... so i shifted to 2nd and got on it, 15lbs steady through 2nd and 3rd and when i hit 4th the car felt like it lost power so i slowed down and let him pass me.

question:
i was about half a car infront..... so as i drove on the car seemed fine but i have been thinking about that moment when i lost power in 4th? i dont know why or what happened..... could i have slipped the clutch or something... the car runs fine nothing different that i can notice..... i havent been able to do a good look over on it yet but i drove it to work and home and its about a 20 min. drive so it seems fine....

later on the same road he was asking me about my car telling me it was "freakin sweet man!!!"

Have you tried to replicate the power loss again? I hate to play the "captain obvious" role, but is there a chance he started to gain on you, triggering the perceived loss of power, or did the loss of power cause him to gain on you?

It always seemed like my car (not 951) had a power problem when I'd get 2 lengths out of the hole, then watch the other car close in and pull ahead.

Youre probably missing a couple hundred horsepower, a stock c6 z06 has about 2x the power of a 944 turbo S.

Stock C6 Z06 = 505 hp

Stock 944 Turbo S = 247 hp

The C6 Z06's are about the fastest damn cars I've ever been on track with. They're scary fast bone stock and I can't believe anything but a heavily modded 951 would even have a chance against one.

Yea, so your average modded 951 with a turbo upgrade is around 320whp, youll need at least 380-400 to play. Pick on the c5 zo6s, and hope they dont have too much work done

You'll need more than that. A very mildly modded (like exhaust) C6 Z06 can dyno at 470+ rwhp and they weigh 3000-3100lbs.

That's way out of a 951's league.

I have a buddy with a z06 with exhaust, tune, intake and it dyno'd just shy of 500hp to the rear wheels. We ran a 775hp 997TT that I built against him and he jumped a half car length out of the hole and stayed there the entire time to 180....simulated on a closed course of course. Putting that much hp in about a 3100lb car is fricken fast. I can see maybe staying with a stanard C6, but not a Z06 unless you have some pretty monster hp.

If you can't beat em', join em'. I'm picking up a white base 2000 C5 tomorrow (barring some huge screw up) with all the bells and whistles (HUD, Z51 suspension). It's purdy

I needed a daily beater that wouldn't bore me to death while I tinker with the Porsche. I think this fits the bill pretty well.

Your problem isn't mechanical, it is the fact that you are as big of a retard as the guy in the vette. Glad you didn't kill anyone. Stop acting like a child.
