Not sure, but that is definitely the cheapest way to do it. I'd guess 50 to 60 to be on the high side, but I haven't done anything this big in a long time. It's as long as a batwing, but not super heavy.

I had one shipped to me (ohio to nyc) several years ago by fedex ground. It was on the order of $30 and fit within their size limit, no problem.

I just sold this one, I used the "grand wardrobe box from U-haul to pack it, lot's of bubble wrap, I paid $ 14.00 plus shipping $ 45.00 for fedex from CA to Missouri the dimensions and weight are
Weight: 41.90 LBS
Dimensions: 56 x 17 x 12 in
and the hinges that hold that glove compartment door weren't broken in mine.
