Default Just took my boss for a ride....

We've driven a ton of performance cars (we sell pre-owned vehicles)...but this was different. I flogged it through a couple corners for him, put down 15psi in first gear and dropped the hammer once in 3rd gear.

Afterwards his statement was "dude on that first corner I thought you were gonna f%&k your car up...I didn't know it would do that!"

He said he expected tires to squeal and rub and all kinds of mayhem.

Nope!

I've done that a couple of times - the usual response is total silence - and then feedback several days later that they were scared to death and thought they were going to die. My father in-law turned white and nearly peed his pants, I honestly thought he was going into cardiac arrest.

yeah...true statement!

Funny thing is I keep telling co-workers how fast the car is and they kind of brush me off...everyone except our GM (long time Porsche-o-phile) cause he loves it and calls it the "hot rod"

With those mods and LSD it should move pretty well. I wish i had LSD in the stock form of the car.

I can remember the difference the LSD made when my friend (PO) installed it. He was doing autocross and time trials with it and as he upped the power the LSD became a requirement.

oh...the 285/30/18 and 245/35/18's I added don't hurt either

next you need to get up to 120-130, let go of the steering wheel and hit the brakes - show them it won't even switch lanes - well, maybe not - he would pee then

That reminds me of the first time I showed my car off to my now ex-girlfriend. She had never been in a properly fast car and the look she gave me as I let off in the middle of third gear was absolutely priceless. A mixture of "holy crap" and "what the hell are you thinking?"

and, with some of the mods all of us have done...when you give someone a ride at night, with a guardrail next to you you usually get unburned fuel out the exhaust with a nice little fire ball and they really freak out. A combo of the big pop and then the reflection on the guardrail; "What the F**k was that??!!" "NOTHING" you scream back, "JUST A LITTLE FUEL AND AIR MIXING - MY AFTERBURNER!"
