Hey guys, comment if you can, need to know best way to remove this line from the J-boot without ripping the rubber nub completely out !?

The clamp is loosened and the fitting spins but does not pull out. It looks like there may be a metal fitting in the boot hole, that the line kind of plugs into ? Not sure....
